You get back to your place after a night of shenanigans and stare at your car for a good 5 minutes. Because I just did that. My only motivation for going to my early morning Econ class is that it gives me an excuse to drive my NA.

I've done that as well! After many long, drunken nights I'll sit in my garage and stare at my Z with some Led Zeppelin playing.

I teach at a challenging school. How I get through, how I "give a little present to myself every day." (ala Twin Peaks) is I leave school during lunch, take a moment to get my car sideways on the excellent back road, and head to the bakery for something fresh to eat. It helps me stay sane and not rage out on students.
